The Renewed Hope Global Dialogue – UK Edition has been hailed as a resounding success, marking another proud moment for Nigeria on the global stage. Hosted at the prestigious House of Lords, Palace of Westminster, London, in conjunction with Foreign Investment Network, the high-level engagement showcased Nigeria's reform achievements under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. It deepened international confidence in the nation's economic renewal agenda.


The event, themed “Strengthening Global Partnerships for Economic Renewal and National Rebranding under the Renewed Hope Administration,” attracted an exceptional array of dignitaries, including Lords, Baronesses, global investors, development partners, and business moguls, alongside senior Nigerian officials and industry leaders. In his remarks, Prince Ade Omole reiterated President Tinubu’s firm position that Nigeria remains open for business, emphasising that the nation is making steady progress, a fact acknowledged by leading international institutions such as the World Bank and the IMF, which have continued to commend Nigeria’s growing economic stability and reform trajectory.


Distinguished attendees from Nigeria included HM Mohammed Idris, FNIPR, Honourable Minister of Information and National Orientation; Her Excellency, Amb. Prof. Mrs Olufolake Abdulrazaq, First Lady of Kwara State; Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi, Director-General/CEO of the Energy Commission of Nigeria; Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, Director-General of NAFDAC; Dr. Olasupo Olusi, Managing Director/CEO of the Bank of Industry; Dr. Paddy Iyamu, Honourable Commissioner for Education, Edo State; Dr. (Princess) Aderemi Adebowale, National Programme Manager, Renewed Hope National Home-Grown School Feeding Programme; Dr. Funmi Olotu, National Coordinator, National Social Safety Nets Coordinating Office; Prince Nnamdi Ekeh, Group CEO of Konga; and Dr. Stephen Akintayo, MD/CEO of GText Global Properties, among others.


The highlight of the event was the historic signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Energy Commission of Nigeria and UNIDACO Limited, London, marking the commencement of an initial €100 million investment into Nigeria's energy sector. This strategic agreement signifies a major milestone in advancing Nigeria's clean energy transition and strengthening global investor confidence in the nation's reform-driven economy.


The signing was witnessed by Nigeria's Minister of Information and National Orientation, HM Mohammed Idris, who also received an international recognition award on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, presented by EuroKnowledge. The award celebrated President Tinubu's transformational leadership, bold reforms, and commitment to repositioning Nigeria as a global investment destination, reinforcing Nigeria's international standing and the pride of its citizens.


In her goodwill message, H.E. Mrs Olayinka Fayomi, Chairperson of the Foreign Investment Network (FIN) and Co-Convener of the Dialogue, commended President Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda for restoring investor confidence, fostering transparency, and driving forward-thinking reforms across critical sectors of the economy.


Throughout the Dialogue, Nigerian government representatives delivered captivating presentations that held the international audience spellbound, highlighting significant national achievements in energy, industrialisation, financial inclusion, and education. The event offered an authentic narrative of progress, opportunity, and peace, countering misinformation and reinforcing Nigeria's position as a peaceful, stable and investment-ready nation.


In his closing remarks, Amb. J K Adebola, MNIM; MCICN, Chairman of Renewed Hope Global, expressed profound appreciation to all partners and participants, noting that the London edition reaffirmed Nigeria's growing influence in global economic conversations. He emphasised the exciting plans of the Renewed Hope Global Tour, which will continue to promote collaboration and confidence in Nigeria's reform agenda as it moves to its next destinations in Dubai, Johannesburg, and Berlin.


The London engagement not only strengthened the Nigeria–UK partnership but also affirmed the Renewed Hope Administration's vision to build a $1 trillion economy by 2030, powered by innovation, inclusion, and international cooperation.

It was, without a doubt, another great day for Nigeria, a day of renewed confidence, partnership, and global respect.
